Fragrance Family: Earthy & Woody

Scent Type: Classic Woods

Key Notes: Rare Oud Wood, Sandalwood, Chinese Pepper

Fragrance Description: A composition of exotic, smoky woods including rare oud, sandalwood, rosewood, eastern spices, and sensual amber — revealing oud‘s rich and compelling power.

About the Bottle: Oud Wood is contained in a smoked-grey, Private Blend bottle. The 50 mL and 100 mL flacons have the architectural look of a chess piece, adding monumental beauty to a dressing table or grooming area, while a gunmetal set-up box completes the design.

About the Fragrance: Smoky, incense-filled temples and a passion for rare, precious oud wood inspire TOM FORD‘s pioneering composition of exotic woods and spices.

"Oud Wood envelops you in rare oud, exotic spices, and cardamom then exposes its rich and dark blend of sensuality." —Tom Ford

Suggested Usage:
-Fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent.
-After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly.
-If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.
-Replace fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.

Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?:
The difference lies in the volume of perfume oil. While EDT contains five to nine percent, EDP contains more, usually eight to 14 percent. EDPs, therefore, last longer and smell more intense.
